As the first international communication standard to incorporate evolved wireless ad hoc network(EVAN) technology,
it enables drones to be hyper-connected and freely exchange information with each other without base stations.

제어 통신
UAAN 제어 통신은 근거리에서 조종자가 드론을 직접 조종하는 통신으로서, 일반적인 ISM 밴드 대역을 사용하는 제어 통신들은 통신 충돌로 제어 상실이 발생할 수 있는 반면, UAAN 제어 통신은 다른 제어 통신과의 충돌 없이 안정적이고 지속적으로 드론을 제어
영상 통신
UAAN 영상 통신은 드론이 전송하는 영상을 조종기나 고글 등에서 받아볼 수 있는 통신으로서, 제어 통신과 마찬가지로 통신 충돌 없이 안정적으로 사용할 수 있으며, 특히, 다른 드론을 통하여 영상 중계가 가능

韓 주도 국제표준 기반 '드론간 자율 충돌 회피' 실증

탑스커뮤니케이션과 베이리스는 지난 29일 대전 드론 공원에서 ‘2024 드론 자율 충돌회피 실증 행사’를 개최했다. 이 자리에서 연구진은 한국 주도로 제정된 ‘드론 통신 국제표준 UAAN’을 이용해 드론 간 자율 충돌회피 기술을 공개했다.
우선 안전한 배송로 진입과 교차로 자율 충돌회피 기술은 드론 배송의 안전성을 높일 수 있다. 드론들이 서로 정보를 주고받으며 충돌을 회피할 수 있다. 드론 안전반원 기술도 드론들이 자동으로 일정한 안전거리를 유지하게 해 상호 충돌을 방지한다.
